I set off into the city with my camera to see how the melting pot of NYC watches the World Cup. Luckily, my timing was perfect and I walked right into the Double Down Saloon in Alphabet City just as the US scored their only goal.

I took a walk to see what the temperature was like on the street a few minutes after Donovan scored the game-winning goal advancing the USA squad past Algeria to the sweet 16.
You also get to see a taste of the ridicule I get when I wear my Phillies hat out.
